Q. Where do I connect the red wire at the base of RCA jack? On Head-end side.
The red wire at the based of the RCA jack need to be connected to the reverse camera trigger input of the head unit (for Kenwood or Pioneer it is purple wire)

Q. Reverse camera works without LED light (green wire) connected to the reverse light (positive). Does not work when the LED light (green wire) is connected.
Check voltage of reverse light (positive wire) with or without the LED light wire connected. If there is voltage drop, you may require alternate (or relay switched) power.
